Find answers to common questions about our tent rental services

We offer a diverse selection to suit different needs and group sizes. Our inventory includes:
  • 2-person backpacking tents - lightweight and compact
  • 4-6 person family tents - spacious with standing room
  • 8-10 person cabin tents - ideal for large groups
  • Pop-up tents - quick setup for festivals
  • 4-season tents - suitable for winter camping
All equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure quality. We can help you choose the right option based on your trip duration, location, and weather conditions.

Booking timelines vary by season. During peak summer months (June-August) and holiday weekends like Victoria Day or Canada Day, we recommend reserving at least 2-3 weeks ahead. Popular camping spots around Algonquin Park or Muskoka fill up quickly during these periods.

For spring and fall trips, 1 week notice is usually sufficient. Last-minute rentals are sometimes available, but selection may be limited. Winter bookings are more flexible due to lower demand. You can check availability online or call us at +1 416 789 0123 to confirm your preferred dates.

Each rental package includes the tent itself, rainfly, ground tarp, stakes, and guylines. We also provide a carrying bag for easy transport. Setup instructions are included with every order.

Additional items available for rent separately:
  • Sleeping bags and pads
  • Camp chairs and tables
  • Cooking equipment
  • Lanterns and headlamps
  • Coolers
We offer package deals that combine multiple items at discounted rates. Contact us to create a custom bundle for your trip.

Our Toronto location at 345 Grace Street is open Monday-Friday 9:00-18:00 and Saturday 10:00-14:00. You can pick up equipment the day before your trip and return it the day after.

Delivery options: We deliver to addresses within the Greater Toronto Area for a fee based on distance. For camping destinations like Killarney Provincial Park or Bruce Peninsula, we can arrange drop-off and pickup at an additional cost.

Returns must be clean and dry. If equipment is returned wet or dirty, a cleaning fee of CAD $25-50 applies. We inspect all items upon return to check for damage.

Pricing varies by tent size and rental duration. Weekend rates (2-3 days) start at CAD $45 for small tents and CAD $120 for large family models. Weekly rentals receive a 20% discount, and monthly rates are available for extended trips.

Payment process: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due at pickup. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfer to [email protected].

A refundable security deposit (CAD $100-200 depending on equipment value) is held and returned within 3 business days after inspection confirms no damage.

We understand plans change. Cancellations made more than 7 days before pickup receive a full refund minus a CAD $15 processing fee. Cancellations 3-7 days prior receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, cancellations within 72 hours of pickup are non-refundable.

Weather exceptions: If Environment Canada issues a severe weather warning for your camping area, we offer free rescheduling or full refund regardless of timing. This applies to tornado warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, or winter storm warnings.

You can modify your booking (change dates or equipment) up to 48 hours before pickup at no charge, subject to availability.

Yes, we want to ensure you're comfortable with your equipment. At pickup, our staff demonstrates proper setup and takedown procedures. We provide detailed instruction sheets with photos for each tent model.

For first-time campers, we offer a free 15-minute tutorial covering:
  • Site selection and ground preparation
  • Proper staking techniques
  • Rainfly attachment
  • Ventilation tips
  • Weatherproofing basics
Video tutorials are also available on our website. If you encounter issues during your trip, our support line is available for troubleshooting guidance.

Normal wear and tear is expected and covered. However, renters are responsible for damage beyond typical use. Common issues include:

Minor damage (small tears, broken zippers): Repair costs deducted from security deposit, typically CAD $20-60.

Major damage (large rips, broken poles, missing parts): Replacement costs apply, ranging from CAD $80-300 depending on the item.

We offer optional damage waiver coverage for CAD $12-25 per rental that covers accidental damage up to CAD $200. This doesn't cover loss or theft. Always inspect equipment before leaving our location and report any pre-existing issues.

Extensions are possible if the equipment isn't reserved by another customer. Contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled return date. We'll check availability and provide pricing for additional days.

Extension rates: Additional days are charged at the daily rate (total rental cost divided by number of days). For example, if you rented for 3 days at CAD $90, each extra day would be CAD $30.

Payment for extensions can be processed over the phone with a credit card. If you return late without prior approval, a late fee of CAD $25 per day applies, plus the daily rental rate. This helps us maintain our schedule for other customers.

About Ruzehe

Camping tent rental service in Toronto

Our Story

Ruzehe started in 2018 when a group of outdoor enthusiasts in Toronto noticed a gap in the market. Quality camping gear was expensive, and many people wanted to try camping before investing in equipment.

We began with 15 tents and a simple goal: make outdoor adventures accessible. Today, we maintain over 200 tents and serve customers across Ontario.

Our warehouse on Grace Street stocks everything from 2-person backpacking tents to 8-person family shelters. Each tent is inspected after every rental and cleaned to camping industry standards.

What We Do

We rent camping tents for weekend trips, festivals, and extended backcountry adventures. Our inventory includes dome tents, cabin tents, and ultralight backpacking models from brands like MSR, Big Agnes, and REI.

Each rental includes setup instructions, stakes, and rainfly. We offer delivery within Toronto and pickup options at our Grace Street location.

Our team tests every tent model personally. We camp in Algonquin Park, Killarney, and Bruce Peninsula to understand how gear performs in real conditions.
